How do I set up Flaresens?
1. Download Flaresens from the App Store
2. Open the app and sign in with your Flaresens account
3. Allow push notifications when prompted — this is required to receive fire safety alerts
4. Allow camera access if you need to capture incident photos
How do I enable notifications?
When you first open Flaresens, you will be asked to allow notifications. If you declined, you can enable them manually:
1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Scroll down and tap Flaresens
3. Tap Notifications

Why am I not receiving alerts?
- Ensure notifications are enabled in your iPhone Settings (see above)
- Check that you have an active internet connection
- Make sure your device is not in Do Not Disturb mode
- Verify that your Flaresens account is active and linked to a monitoring system
What should I do when I receive a fire alert?
Follow your organisation's emergency response procedures immediately. Flaresens alerts are triggered by your connected
fire detection system and should be treated as real emergencies unless confirmed otherwise by your fire safety manager.
Does the app work without internet?
Flaresens requires an internet connection to receive alerts. The app will notify you if your device goes offline so you
are always aware of your connectivity status.
Why does the app need camera access?
Camera access allows you to capture photos for incident documentation and reporting directly within the app. This
permission is optional and only used when you choose to take a photo.
How is my data protected?
All communication between the app and our servers uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Session data is stored securely
using the iOS Keychain. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Can I use Flaresens on iPad?
Flaresens is currently available for iPhone only.
What iOS version do I need?
Flaresens requires iOS 15.0 or later.

The app is showing "No Internet Connection"
